Southend-on-Sea City Council is undertaking a procurement for Infrastructure Build Services via CCS RM6095 Gigabit Capable Connectivity DPS on behalf of ASELA (Association of South Essex Local Authorities)

The procurement will be for the roll out of Dark Fibre Infrastructure within and around nine towns in South Essex: Basildon, Brentwood, Canvey Island, Grays, Laindon, Rayleigh, Rochford, Stanford-Le-Hope and Wickford.

Additional projects that are awaiting funding are:

A direct Dark Fibre link between Brentwood Council sites to Basildon Council sites.

Linking of the Dark Fibre connections rolled out in this procurement to existing public sector fibre networks in Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Thurrock and Southend.
