Domestic and Communal Heating and Gas Services Contract

Network Housing Group (NHG) invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified Service Providers (SP) capable of providing the following (as set out in detail in the Term Brief):

-Annual servicing, responsive maintenance including breakdown call out cover and replacement of boilers and associated systems to individual tenanted properties;

-Safety inspections, servicing, planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, responsive repairs, breakdown call out cover, including replacements and installations, to communal gas fired, oil fired and solid fuel appliances, communal heating systems and renewable technology

within properties owned/managed by NHG’s subsidiaries- Riversmead Housing Association (Lot 1) and Community Trust Housing (SW9) and Network Stadium Housing Association (Lot 2), in accordance with the tender documents.

The contract is in 2 Lots, one for Riversmead HA and the other, split into 2 contracts for properties in the Stockwell area managed by SW9 and Network Stadium Housing Association.

The contracts will be for a period of 5 years, extendable at the Client's option by up to 5 further consecutive periods of one year each.

NHG is procuring this contract on behalf of its member organisations, however the Group is undergoing a corporate restructure (due April 2016) and depending on timing, the contracts entered into may be in the names of the original Group member(s) or the successor NHG member(s). Following such restructure, CTH, one of the current members will become a Local Management Organisation to be known as SW9 and the remaining members of NHG will be reconstituted into a single organisation, named Network Homes. Service Providers must tender for both Lots but will only be awarded one.

The Client expects to spend in the region of £500k pa in the Riversmead area and £200k pa in the Stockwell area on planned installation programmes. The Client may opt to instruct the SP to carry out some or all planned installation programmes under the contract, however there is no commitment on behalf of the Client to give any of this work to the Service Provider and the Client reserves the right to tender these works to the open market if the Client feels this could provide best value. Any instruction to carry out planned installation programmes shall be entirely at the Client's discretion.
