You are invited to tender for the replacement of the Grove Theatres 780 seat auditorium House light system, which is designed to illuminate the stalls, boxes, balconies and walkways of the auditorium for both general and show use, providing safe levels of lighting for the public as they attend the theatre, whilst maintaining the decorative aesthetics of the auditorium. Included in this project is the potential for replacement of the theatrical dimmer system upgrading to provide suitable dimming and power for all modern lighting requirements both tungsten and intelligent. The project will also include the supply of new lighting fixtures and equipment for the upgrade of the theatrical stage lighting system as specified, to professional standard of equipment suitable to a theatre of this size.
These improvements are to benefit the theatre lowering its environmental impact and reduce ongoing costs, providing a system that is sustainable and has durable life span, overall providing a greater theatre experience to our customers and the local community.
These are specialist works which will need to be undertaken by a contractor with significant experience of theatrical lighting projects.
