West Bromwich Urban Greening - Cultural Programme

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified cultural arts organisation to deliver a programme of cultural and communities activities as part of the West Bromwich - Urban Greening project between April 2022 and April 2025.

The Urban Greening project formed part of Town Investment Plan for West Bromwich that was submitted to MHCLG in Autumn 2020. Heads of Terms were agreed with SMBC in Spring 2021 and Full Business Cases are currently being prepared. The Urban Greening scheme will focus on West Bromwich Town Centre Green Public Realm improvements and a cultural programme is proposed to run alongside the Capital Development Works.

The overall scheme consists of a number of components:

• Public Realm upgrades - Princess Parade, West Bromwich
• New green links along Bull Street, West Bromwich
• Cultural Programme

The organisation appointed will be required to design and lead the Cultural Programme.

Closing date for submissions is 15 March 2022 @ 15:00 hours.
