Market Testing for Electronic Referral System for Specialised Rehabilitation

Creating a patient centered, data driven, high quality, resource efficient post-acute rehabilitation infrastructure is central to improving outcomes in Neurosurgery. As part of the NHS England South-East Neurosurgery Transformation Project, we are looking to procure a single, online referral system to be used by specialist neuro rehabilitation services in the region. This will go some way to reduce fragmentation of pathways, improve the patient journey and reduce form filling burden for clinicians working in the acute setting, freeing up their time for direct clinical care. It will help to create a robust and single data gathering system, which can be used to inform future system improvements.
