Goldsmiths, University of London are in the process of carrying some urgent and major changes to their IT infrastructure.
Bids are invited from companies with the ability to install fibre optic cable to a good and professional standard, and who can mobilise very quickly on the following projects.
- Goldsmiths have an urgent requirement to upgrade some of the interconnections between various buildings to ensure a minimum connection speed of 10Gb. (The GREEN routes).
- To improve the resilience of the IT network in general there is a requirement to install diversified network cabling routes between some of the buildings. Again, these are to be at a minimum connection speed of 10Gb. (The PURPLE routes).
All the Green routes, and Purple Routes Number 1 and Number 13, MUST be in place by the 1st of July 2015 so only companies who can meet this deadline need apply.
