The University of Southampton is contracting for the purchase of a THz spectrometer for use by its Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering.
The module will allow the characterization of broadband THz metamaterials in a routine fashion. The THz spectrometer module will be driven by our current pulsed Mai Tai Ti:Sa laser that provides 100 fs pulses in the wavelength range 700-900 nm, with 3W average power at 800 nm and 80 MHz repetition rate.
Additional information: In accordance with the exemption provided for in Regulation 112 (2) (b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, a contract value of £45,000 - £50,000 is provided in lieu of an actual contract price.
