TO831 Supply of Modular Bathrooms - AWARD

The UEA accommodates 4387 students on campus, 715 of these are housed on our Village site in eleven buildings. The Village site was constructed in 1994 and has not seen any major refurbishment since its time of construction. The University is now embarking on a refurbishment of the study bedrooms within these buildings over the coming years which will incorporate replacing the existing GRP shower Pods with a unit that is of modern design, robust and limits ongoing maintenance. The University is seeking to appoint a supplier of these units for the duration of the project.

Over recent years the University has replaced 34 shower pods on an ad-hoc basis and in 2016 will be replacing an additional 40 pods. The pods that have already been replaced will remain in situ during the refurbishment programme and will not be replaced, therefore the University will be seeking to place a total order over the duration of the project of circa 641 Pods. Orders will be placed during the latter part of the year before deliveries are required, when the scope of the following years refurbishment programme has been confirmed the pods will need to be delivered Mid-June.
