GB-Bristol: Scout SV Procurement of APG Steps

Manufacture and supply of portable polyurethane steps (sleeping policemen). The Armoured Vehicles Programme, part of Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) within the Ministry of Defence has a requirement for the manufacture and supply of two variations of portable, polyurethane- constructed steps from two pre-existing drawing packages.

The contracted deliverables will be: the manufacture and supply within the UK of a total of 28 steps from 2 drawing packages, the clear marking of the weight in KG to be stencilled on each step, the supply of an inspection Certificate of Conformity confirming the steps conform to the supplied drawing specifications and the delivery and unloading of the steps to a UK- based trials site.

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified companies with experience in the undertaking of hot pour moulding of large polyurethane items.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
