Cornwall Council is undertaking a tender for community Day Services.

There will be two information sessions designed to assist potential suppliers to tender successfully for a Day Services contract:

September 2016 – (Shire Hall, Mount Folly Square, Bodmin, PL31 2DQ – time to be confirmed)
September 2016 – Room GW:02 Council Offices, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, TR14 8SX (time to be confirmed)

Each session includes:

•	The E-tendering process (Due North system)
•	Quality Assurance
•	Health and Safety
•	Financial bids

Cornwall Council currently operates in-house day services. In addition we are commissioning external community services for adults with eligible support needs. Eligible needs includes learning disability, physical disability, age related needs and sensory loss.

The Council spends approximately £3 million per annum with a range of external providers.
