description
Southwark Council is inviting interested parties to attend a market warming event for Alternative Provision. Southwark Council is currently reviewing its offer of Alternative Provision (AP), which provides education for children who, because a wide range of social, behavioural or health needs, are unable to access the mainstream education system.
Subject to Southwark Council Cabinet approval, the intention is to establish contracting arrangements with high-quality providers via an AP framework. It is anticipated the AP framework will generate increased choice, improved educational and developmental outcomes, and better reflect the needs of the user. In addition, the framework will allow the Council to respond quickly and effectively to its needs, whilst providing a level of market stability through its bank of providers.
For further details about the event, interested parties can access information via https://procontract.due-north.com and download the invitation.
