The University of Leeds is seeking to create a well-defined, market led professional development proposition, explicitly targeted at businesses looking to upskill their workforce. The aim is to create new revenue streams and develop new business development opportunities. It is proposed that this is based on market need and demand, and teaching excellence in areas such as health, data, engineering and business, along with the wraparound Nexus and corporate relations brand of business support and existing academic expertise.
