description

Lancaster City Council recognises that a number of incidents occur day and night throughout the year. To enable the council to respond to such situations it is now seeking contractors to work with on a responsive basis

Submissions are sought from suitably qualified and experienced scaffolding contractors to register their interest and present completed schedules in order to establish contractor framework to be utilised where needed to make safe/access the property

The list will consist of no more than 3 contractors (although the council reserve the right to use more or less if deemed appropriate) the contractors on the list will be ranked using the evaluation criteria stated below. Contractors from the list will then be contacted according to the order of the initial ranking and then used on a rotational basis when required.

The framework is not a guarantee of work but should the need arise this framework will establish the first call for contractors in these specialisms. The established frameworks will only be reviewed after a period of 3 years. After which the opportunity will be advertised again and the existing list members will be given the option to remain on the list if they so wish. However should any contractor repeatedly decline work they may be removed from the framework and a replacement sought. Additionally if any contractor requests to leave the framework Lancaster City Council reserve the right to replace the contractor.
