description

Worcestershire Health and Care Trust (WHCT) are part of a large scale initiative led by the Work and Health Unit (WHU) of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to increase the employment support within Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) services.

The Trust is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified providers capable of delivering an Employment Advice Service embedded in IAPT Services within Worcestershire which offers an integrated package of psychological therapy and employment support.

IAPT services are psychological therapy services tailored to people's needs and include talking therapies, group approaches, couples therapy and self-help support for people who experience anxiety and depression.

The organisation will need to provide 6 Employment Advisors (EAs) and 1 Senior EA to offer practical advice and relevant interventions to assist clients to gain, return to or retain employment. The EAs will work closely with IAPT clinicians to provide employment support to people with common mental health problems who are struggling at work, off sick from work or looking to find work.

WHCT are seeking to subcontract and work with a partner organisation that can bring this knowledge and expertise and work within and alongside the IAPT Service. We are seeking providers who have previous experience of supporting people into vocational/employment activities that have used a mental health service.

There is an expectation that the successful provider will commence the service from September 2018.

An engagement event will be held on 10am 12th March to provide an opportunity to discuss the service specification and requirements in further detail.

Suppliers must submit a completed SQ (Standard Questionnaire ) via the Authority's eSourcing tool (project ID 30728) at
