To deliver a short introduction to warehousing course to eligible 15-29 year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET).
Courses may include 'Soft' skills such as communication, problem solving, working with others and ideally a work placement within the distribution/warehousing setting, the program may cover areas such as:
- oMaintain health, safety, and security in logistics operations
- oDevelop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations
- oOperate equipment to perform work requirements
- oReceive goods from deliveries
- oPlace goods in storage
- oProcess orders for dispatch to customers
- oAssemble orders for dispatch
- oDispatch goods for delivery
