description

West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN) wishes to commission development and support for the first phase of a new regional initiative, the West Midlands Three Cities Wellbeing Festival Programme (WM3C). The assignment will run from 1 February 2019 to 31 March 2020 (14 months) with a possible extension if required.

The West Midlands Three Cities will be a programme of public, free events to be run in Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton city centres. The events will be designed to attract citizens of all ages with a view to:

Increasing their knowledge of how to live more healthy lives;

Raising awareness of regional initiatives to promote greater health and wellbeing;

Showcasing innovations and research activities from the region;

Engaging citizens in the ambition to make the West Midlands a prosperous and healthy place to live.

The overall aim of this assignment is to build on an initial feasibility study that has been conducted and continue the development of the WM3C concept for the region. This will include supporting stakeholders to develop events that meet the overall aims of the programme as well as the priorities of the city in question.
