The role holder will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership of the enhanced Operations Centre capability, proactively managing issues, risks and liaising with workstream leads to challenge and enhance mitigating actions. This role will provide a fantastic opportunity to work across a large and complex portfolio, overseeing the production and quality of situation reports to senior stakeholders and supporting decision-making at the highest level with clear recommendations.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
| - | Providing overall 'command and control' of the resolution of issues to ensure the continuity of product supply |
| - | Responding to requirements identified within the Operation C3 Centre in relation to the Operations Centre operation, ensuring prompt issue resolution |
| - | Supporting the Operations Centre capability leads to ensure that they can deliver the required outputs from their functions |
| - | Identifying and addressing threats to the effective operation of the Operations Centre. Monitoring and ensuring the quality of outputs which will be escalated to the Operations C3 Centre |
| - | Effectively managing Operations Centre risks and interdependencies by thorough management of the risk and issues register. Providing productive challenge to work stream leads to ensure reported risks have appropriate mitigations in place |
| - | Facilitating prompt decision-making as required, based on urgent recommendations to enable effective case resolution |
| - | Reviewing and approving reports for public release |
