DBC (AL) Office Building Full Refurbishment at Woodwells Cemetery, Buncefield Lane

The Council’s Building Services and Commercial Asset Department is looking to have some works carried out at the following location as part of the Council’s Capital Works programme:

Woodwells Cemetery

Buncefield Lane

Hemel Hempstead

Hertfordshire

HP2 7HY

A summary of the works is as follows:

The works proposed for the Cemetery’s existing Office Building, comprises the full refurbishment by removing some internal walls and constructing some new walls, blocking-up some existing door and window openings, whilst creating new door and window openings, breaking up and replacing the existing concrete floor slab with new concrete slab with insulation, stripping off existing and constructing new flat roof with insulation. The new layout of the refurbished building will create new mess and drying rooms with toilet and washing facilities, offices for general use and for the Bereavement Manager with toilet and kitchenette facilities, a general meeting room and a reception area.
