Developing a practical user-friendly outdoor recreation valuation appraisal tool

To deliver an initial open access1 web based tool for valuation of outdoor recreation in UK for use in a range of practical decision contexts and users. This initial version of the tool (proto-type version 1.0) would allow interactive mapping of recreation sites and in this initial stage of the tool look to develop analytical capability for specific policy questions relating to valuing existing and new recreational sites. It is recognised that further development (beyond this project) would be required to achieve full functionality of the tool over time.
