description

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham invites Tenders for the provision of a ticket machine parking solution and maintenance services, as more particularly described in the Service Specification and the Contract. The Authority is seeking to purchase approximately 400 new on-street pay & display ticket machines (PDMs).

The majority of the PDMs; approx. 350; will initially be card only offering standard payment facilities such as wave and pay and chip and PIN, however all of these machines must have the ability to be retrofitted to accept cash payments in the future. The remaining machines; approx. 50; will be configured to accept both card and cash payments. The Authority requires the provision of a comprehensive maintenance service for the ticket machines it purchases, including but not limited to; safety audits, regular maintenance, on call service for repairs and back office software and support. As part of the tender process suppliers will submit a Service Level Agreement to the Council for discussion/ agreement, which sets out proposed back office and support systems. This Contract will initially be for six years, with two opportunities for the Authority, acting at its discretion, to extend it by 3 years on each occasion.
