description
The core function of the Kent School Improvement Service is to raise standards in all schools, build capacity and to promote continuous improvement in line with the Council's vision and strategic priorities- https://shareweb.kent.gov.uk/Documents/KELSI/EYPS%20Vision%20and%20Priorities%20 for%20Improvement.pdf . Principally, this is about ensuring educational provision is never less than good. We require additional providers to work with us in supporting the following: being the champion of our children and families ensuring that support for all vulnerable children is excellent and the attainment gap is closed using wider influence to provide strategic leadership with partners and stakeholders to provide an educational offer that enables all children to achieve the best outcomes; supporting our schools on their journey to excellence through effective and evidence-based challenge and support. In taking this work forwards we need to commission experienced, well respected and highly qualified Education Consultants to work with schools under our guidance and management. Two categories will be operated: Pedagogy Associate - this work will focus on educational strategies for improving teaching and learning as well as classroom practise by classroom practitioners and Middle Leaders. Strategic Associate - This work will focus on supporting Leaders in schools to raise standards and bring about rapid change to school performance. This will be managed through a DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System). The duration of the DPS is 4 years. Providers should register, express their interest and download the tender details from the Kent Business Portal, at (Kentbusinessportal.org.uk) responses must be uploaded to the same location.
