Cornwall Council requires detailed and costed proposals for the loose furniture in the public and staff areas in Kresen Kernow. The office furniture needs to be completed by the 29th March 2019. Please note that the exact dates for installation are to be finalised in discussion with the Service Provider. The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision and installation of the furniture specified in the requirements document in the individual Lots.

Lot 1 - Library, Archive Reading Room and Visitor Area Furniture - Cornwall Council requires detailed and costed proposals for the loose furniture in the public library, archive reading room and visitor areas in Kresen Kernow

Estimated Total Value - £170,000

Lot 2 - Library Shelving - The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision and installation of the library shelving to accommodate a minimum of 145 linear metres (maximum 180 linear metres) of book stock in the Cornish Studies library in Kresen Kernow.

Estimated Total Value - £40,000

Lot 3 - Office Furniture - The Service Provider will be responsible for the provision and installation of the office and meeting room furniture.

Estimated Total Value - £60,000

The work needs to be completed between 15th March - 16th April 2019. Please note that the exact dates for delivery and installation are to be finalised in discussion with the Service Provider and Archives and Cornish Studies Service.

Site Visit - Kresen Kernow

In addition, as a key part of this procurement process, any prospective tenderer will, at their own cost and risk, be expect to attend, or at least be represented at, the designated Provider Information Event to be held at Kresen Kernow on Friday 11 January 2019 at 0900 to 1400 (Kresen Kernow, Little Vauxhall, Redruth, TR15 1AS)

This is a strictly escorted visit (Visitors should be able to access parking facilities in close proximity to Kresen Kernow) and will be the ONLY opportunity for potential bidders to familiarize themselves with local conditions, any potential operational constraints and ask any questions of the Kresen Kernow Project Lead and their support colleagues. Please use the Portal Messaging system to confirm the attendance and the names and job titles of those anticipated to be in attendance but due to the limited space in many areas of the existing buildings we need to limit the numbers to no more than 2 personnel per organisation.
