description

The London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond upon Thames are seeking suitably qualified providers to participate in a soft market testing exercise relating to the delivery of 0 – 5 years Health Visiting Service across both boroughs.

The purpose of this soft market testing exercise is to determine whether or not there is sufficient interest in the marketplace for the delivery of a 0 – 5 years Health Visiting Service from existing, as well as new providers, to inform future commissioning intentions and the development/refinement of the service specification. The Councils are also keen to explore ways which can improve health outcomes for those aged between 0 – 5 years and the cost effectiveness of the service.

This exercise is not a formal tendering process. Participation in this exercise is completely voluntary and submitting, or not submitting a response, would not preclude you from any further procurement activity.

A detailed background to the 0 – 5 Health Visiting service is set out in the Soft Market Testing Questionnaire which is available on the e-sourcing portal.

Further details on this opportunity, how to register on the portal and access the Questionnaire and related information, are found below (see section 5: Attachments, Links and Additional Text).

Please note the following deadlines:

Submission of questions: 12:00 noon on 26 August 2016.

Submission of completed questionnaires along with any supporting documentation: 12:00 noon on 07 September 2016.

Additional information: Submitting the Questionnaire
