description

Providers are invited to submit grant funding applications for the provision of targeted holistic services for children and young people with disabilities and/or a complex health needs.

The aim of the targeted short break is to offer a range of holistic interventions to support the child's wellbeing, which may lead to better sleep, relaxation, improved management of emotional regulation or decrease in pain or discomfort. This in turn will provide the child and their family with a short break.

The target group is children and young people up to the age of 18 years who would benefit from a complementary therapeutic approach to aid their wellbeing. The intervention may be on a one to one basis or in a group setting.
