description
Bristol City Council is holding a market engagement session with companies that may be interested in managing the Bristol Harbour Festival from 2017 onwards.
Bristol Harbour Festival is the city council’s flagship free family event and cultural celebration which currently takes place over three days in July around the city’s historic harbourside with a programme of arts and cultural activity.
Bristol Harbour Festival is a strong and successful event that has been running for over 40 years, and attracts over 250,000 people to the city and £9.9 million in inward investment.
The session will gauge interest from companies in managing the event after the current contract ends, detail the procurement process for bidding for Bristol City Council contracts and consider opportunities for cost-saving whilst maintaining a free event.
Feedback from this session would be taken into consideration for any formal tenders for the management of the festival. It is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process.
The session will run on Tuesday 12th April .
If you would like to register to attend this event please book through Eventbrite: https://bccharbourfest.eventbrite.co.uk
Places are limited to a maximum of two per company.
You can see more about the 2015 event on the festival website: http://bristolharbourfestival.co.uk/
