Sandwell Council is looking to procure a coordinator to produce and deliver the eighth annual Sandwell Arts Festival, working in partnership with local artists and groups to celebrate local history and engage communities with creativity and the arts, to bring the arts alive in Sandwell. The 2016 Sandwell Arts Festival engaged many people with artistic activities and events and the Sandwell Brand is becoming increasingly established with a wider participatory audience year on year.
Sandwell Arts Festival, now in its eighth year, is a celebration of local heroes and an opportunity for the diverse communities of Sandwell to come together creatively exploring local arts and culture. The principle aims of Sandwell Arts Festival are to:
- oLink local artists and communities to national artists.
- oPromote engagement with local communities and the arts across Sandwell.
- oCultivate the legacy and brand of the Sandwell Arts Festival
- oProvide opportunities for employment and development of local artists.
- oDevelop the identity of Sandwell Arts Caf? as a cultural hub in Sandwell.
