GB-Telford: Reducing Social Isolation

The Council is inviting you to take part in a workshop to consider reducing social isolation in Telford and Wrekin. This workshop will enable providers to contribute to the development of a service specification which will feature in a tender going live in early April.

The tender will invite bids from providers who are able to offer a range of innovative service provision for older people (with an awareness of those with sensory impairment and dementia needs) and carers that will: •promote inclusion and reduce social isolation;

•encourage independence; and

•assist individuals to live in their own communities for longer.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
