description
The Forestry Commission is inviting tenders for the supply and installation of a 40m3/day packaged RBC sewage treatment plant and associated drainage works at Begdgebury Pinetum, Kent.
Works include:
Manufacture, delivery and installation of a packaged RBC treatment plant capable of meeting a consent of 30/20/20 and a 4m3 grease trap.
Construction of gravity sewers, inspection chambers and cable ducts.
Decommissioning of the existing SAF treatment plant
The RBC packaged treatment plant shall be designed to produce a 30/20/ 20 final effluent for the varying flow rates given in the treatment plant specification. The Associated Works include the supply of all materials and construction of PCC manholes, 150mm diameter twin-wall polyethylene sewers, sample chamber, outfall, access road, electrical and communications ducting.
The existing sewage treatment plant shall be decommissioned towards the end of the contract.
