Hungary - New British Embassy Budapest, Fit out works

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced contractors, for the internal fit out and external works at the new British Embassy at Barsi utca 9, Budapest, H-1022.

Additional information: The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is intending to relocate to the current Dutch Embassy located at Barsi utca 9, Budapest, H-1022. The contractor is required to carry out the fit out to provide an office which meets UK or similar approved standards. Some areas of work will be reserved for other specialist trades and not form part of this contract. The subject of this enquiry would be the reception area, general office area including open plan office and some private offices, meeting rooms and staff welfare point and toilets. Enhancements to the external security will also be required including the installation of new gates and upgrade of the fencing. The scope will include delivery of work to designs developed by our architects, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers. The contractor will be expected to review and finalise these largely developed designs for our approval and subsequent construction.

This project will be contracted using the NEC Option A form of contract.
