Objective
DFID aims to undertake political economy analysis to develop a sharper understanding of how best to address the constraints to investment and economic growth in Bangladesh, as well as to identify the political economy barriers and opportunities within each binding constraint to growth.
- To improve our understanding of the political economy obstacles and opportunities for growth;
- To enhance dialogue with the Government of Bangladesh around policy options for delivering improved and more inclusive growth; and
- To help inform medium-term strategies for engaging with civil society and private sector actors to advocate for changes that will help overcome these constraints to growth.
