Operating within the Finance and IT Group of Gateshead Council, the School ICT Support Service is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and capable provider to deliver the following Contract requirements:
Computer Hardware Replacement:
| • | Decommissioning of the 4 existing central Domain Controllers servers used to manage the Microsoft Active directory services |
| • | Procurement, build, configuration and deployment of 4 new Domain Controllers servers to support the Active Directory migration. |
Software Licencing:
- Supply of Microsoft Server 2016 Standard software licences (education pricing) for the four new central domain controllers.
Microsoft Active Directory Replacement:
- Migration of the existing Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory forest, tree and domain design to the latest Windows Active directory solution
- Review and replacement, as appropriate, of existing Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory group policies and logon scripts
