description
The Bottle Yard Studios (TBYS) is a successful television and film studio facility based in south Bristol, wholly owned and managed by Bristol City Council. The Bottle Yard Studios ("the Bottle Yard" or "TBYS") are looking for a supplier to provide new network connectivity, new telephony solution and new IT support services. The TBYS has rapidly expanded since 2010 and is ever evolving in response to the demands of the industry and media related clients. The Television and Film industry can be incredibly demanding and reactive and follows no typical working pattern. Visiting productions at TBYS typically work between 07:00 - 19:00 but could be filming day or night and so it is important that sufficient IT support provisions are in place, particularly if they need to deliver important film rushes to post production houses around the world at any time of the day or night.
It is imperative that the chosen IT support supplier acknowledges that TBYS is not a typical '9-5' operation and can cope with nocturnal/out of hours activity as required. We are looking for a provider who is willing and able to respond to last minute bookings, with sometimes very little notice. The business is constantly re-shaping and adapting to external influences. Most importantly, we are looking to work with a supplier who is willing and able to adapt the services in line with the business needs, working together for the best possible solutions throughout the contract term.
