The current Airfield Ground lighting system is a proprietary closed protocol system designed and constructed by ATG Airports Ltd. The GE Fanuc PLC systems are now obsolete and need upgrading. As these systems are critical to the operation to the airfield it is now essential they be replaced and suitable spares kept on site for critical failures.

Prospective contractors must be able to demonstrate previous experience of similar work and be prepared to provide references.
