The overall aim of this contract is to support the sustainability plans of the Social Enterprise Networks across the Heart of the South West area so that they can in turn, continue to support Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs to achieve their own growth aims after the Enhance Social Enterprise Programme has ended.
Devon County Council (DCC) is looking to procure a Social Enterprise Network Development Services provider to:
- Work alongside the existing SENs to collaboratively develop their membership offers to increase the number of Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs engaged with at least one of the SENs membership schemes, from around 170 to 600 (this figure is combined across all the SENs in the HotSW LEP area).
- Develop and host a series or local events across the two Categories of Region (Somerset and Devon, Plymouth and Torbay) that engage, support and capacity build the social purpose sector. A minimum of 16 local events, split equally between the two Categories of Region, must take place throughout the duration of the contract.
- Collaborate with the ERDF Enhance Social Enterprise Theory of Change team (CAG Group) to support the data collection and self-registration referral, to the asset map and online database, of Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs across the HotSW LEP area.
- Design and implement a marketing campaign that will achieve the sign-up of 872 Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs across the HotSW LEP area to the asset map and database.
- Signposting of Eligible Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs to the Enhance Social Enterprise Programme and other support schemes operated through the HotSW LEP. The mandatory target for this activity is a minimum of 120 referrals from Eligible Social Enterprises and Social Entrepreneurs not already engaged with the Programme
- Collaborate with the DCC Enhance Social Enterprise team to assist with producing guest lists for larger events and contributing to the overall success of the Programme
