Supply of Roofing Materials 2017 - 2020

We are seeking to procure one supplier for the supply of Roofing materials.

The estimated annual value of these items is £30,000. This is based on historical usage. KWL can offer no guarantee of spend, volume or frequency of orders made to any supplier.

The supplier must note that the service to be provided is not an exclusive arrangement and in order to meet the conditions of our contracts KWL may seek other suppliers in the event of service failure.

The contract will be for a 2-year period commencing on 4th September 2017. The contract may be extended for a further 1 year period subject to a value for money review which will take into account cost, performance and quality delivered during the original contract term.

The award of contracts shall be carried out in accordance with KWL Purchasing Policy.

Supplier Service

The successful suppliers must be able to provide a citywide service in supplying the materials contained within the lot which they are awarded. It is also a requirement for the Supplier to have local premises from which they are able to deliver materials from and for KWL to collect from as necessary. Ideally in order to accommodate this requirement it is anticipated that the Supplier will provide one central facility or two depots within the East and West areas of the city respectively.

The successful supplier must be able to provide an efficient delivery service (within 24 hours of ordering) to our main stores situated on Connaught Road Hull HU7 3AP.
