Housing Benefit Audit Services

Derby City Council requires a service provider to audit the housing benefit subsidy claim to DWP requirements, to give the DWP assurance of a valid and true claim. The provider will conduct testing of all Housing Benefit Assurance Procedure (HBAP) aspects of the audit. Estimated £28,000 annual cost, with some additional capacity for any retesting charges. The initial contract period is 24 months; the contract is estimated to commence 01/07/2018 and expire 30/06/2020. There will be an option to extend the contract for up to 24 months in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. The maximum contract period is therefore four years.
