Hodson Embankment Ground Investigation 2019
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a Ground Investigation (GI) at Hodson Embankment, Swindon.
Project Description: The GI is to verify the existing ground conditions, to supplement the existing ground and groundwater information and to assist in informing the most suitable remedial solutions for the future stabilisation of the embankment.
Hodson Embankment perpendicularly adjoins the eastbound carriageway of the M4 motorway, approximately 1.5km west of Junction 15. It supports a minor road (Broome Manor Lane) and bridge over the M4, which links the village of Hodson with Swindon.

Contract Period: The initial contract term will be for 10 weeks, as stated in the RFQ documents.
