A provider engagement afternoon is being held to consider:
How we might provide a care and support service for a new, 63 flat, extra care housing scheme being developed in partnership with Yarlington Housing and West Dorset District Council in Poundbury.
Context:
The Council currently commissions an extra care service for residents at four extra care housing schemes. The current specification was originally written in 2012. A new specification is needed for the Poundbury scheme and subsequently to replace existing services at our other four schemes.
Consultation is underway with existing residents of extra care schemes and with commissioners in the South West. In addition, we are keen to hear from potential providers of the service.
