The 4-port network analyser will form the heart of the measurement facility providing the transmitter and receiver for the antenna system, as a standalone facility to measure S-parameters, material properties, circuit characteristics etc. Millimeter wave extension modules will provide frequency coverage to 110 GHz. The equipment to be procured will form a facility to measure devices, antennas, circuits and materials in the frequency range up to 110 GHz. It is important that equipment will measure on-wafer antennas and devices before and after bonding/packaging. It is important that all the equipment is compatible with each other (see dependencies within the ITT) The three items of equipment to be purchased under separate tenders are:

  1. Antenna Measurement System NSI-700S-360 system (already sourced);
  2. Vector network analyser;
  3. Probe station.
