description
The Secretary of State for Health (the "Authority") is issuing this notice to inform the market of its intention to start a competitive procurement of three NIHR Co-ordinating Centres - NETSCC, CCF & NOCRI. The purpose of this tendering exercise is to identify suitable Suppliers to continue the provision of the three requirements which have a potential combined total value of £140M for contract terms of 5 years with an option to extend by an additional 4 years at £112M subject to contract review. NIHR is funded through DH to improve the health and wealth of the nation through research. The NIHR is a large, multi-faceted and nationally distributed organisation and manages its health research activities through four main work strands: Research, Infrastructure, Faculty & Systems. Management support of these four work strands is carried out by Co-ordinating Centres. The requirements have been divided into 3 lots - NETSCC & CCF have to be separate suppliers. This advert is for the Pre Qualification Stage of the Procurement. Please Refer to ITT 60320 on BMS for further information. How to reach BMS is provided as a link and attachment in the attachments page.
Additional information: This procurement exercise will be conducted via the DH’s e-Tendering portal. We call this system BMS (Business Management System).
