Replacement and Alterations of the Landlords LV equipment, associated wiring and builders' Work at Trellick Tower, Golborne Road, London, W10 5NY

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (" The Authority") is seeking competitive tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the removal of all existing power cabling from the ceiling of the ground floor entrance foyer at Trellick Tower.

The existing landlords' LV distribution system within the ground floor electrical intake room shall be relocated to plantroom 6A with the installation of new panel boards in the main intake room on the ground floor and Plantroom 6A to serve the Landlord's electrical services.

The Works comprise:

• Modification to the existing submain cabling currently crossing over the entrance foyer at Trellick Towers
• Identification of the existing circuit wiring, the disconnection and removal of all necessary redundant equipment
• Supply of new, delivery to site, & erection,
• Installation and testing and commissioning of all new services, including all materials and equipment specifically called for or implied as necessary, including the use of all skilled and unskilled labour necessary for the services installations.

Bidders will be required to produce a detailed "programme of works" as part of the tender process and must allow for all updating and resubmissions of revised programmes, as required by the Client.

The installation of all electrical systems MUST be undertaken by a member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting Approved Contractor Scheme or other approved body.
