description
The Council is seeking an experienced film management contractor to manage the Council's film service contract. Bromley has a wide range of assets across the Borough making it an attractive location for many films.
The film services contractor will engage with several departments across the Council as well as public and/ or private partners as required, to co-ordinate filming activities through a consistent and responsive service. The service requires a specific level of expertise and knowledge of the industry, with an understanding of working practices both within the screen industries and with local authorities and other relevant agencies.
This will be a Concessions Contract whereby the Council and Provider will both receive a share of the income. The Provider will be responsible for generating this income and the Council cannot guarantee any level of demand.
The Contract will commence in February 2025 and be for a period of 3 years, with an option to extend for a further period up to 2 years at the sole discretion of the Council.
The Council estimates the income of this Contract to be valued between £450k and £500k over the full 5-year duration, to be shared between the Council and the Provider.
Please see the Invitation to Tender documents, attached to the Council's ProContract portal, for full details of our requirements and how to respond.
