Aldington Meadows refurbishment

Aldington and Bonnington Parish Council owns the site known as Aldington Meadows Recreation Area and has sole responsibility for the management of the playing field and facilities.

The project seeks to improve the children's play area the objective being to create a space that will offer people access to as wide a range of opportunities as possible. The space should be visually appealing, exciting, challenging and stimulating. We seek to provide inclusive play equipment that can be used by all children, whatever their ability.

We are seeking proposals and tenders for:

The provision and installation of new play equipment for under 11's

The provision and installation of new play equipment for 11+

The provision and installation of a multi use games area

The provision and installation of an aerial runway

The provision and installation of a sports wall

Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for any or all of the above.

The Parish Council are currently fund raising for the project and will be actively seeking grant funding once indicative costs are available which will determine the timescales for the delivery of the project.
