NWL0007 IAPT Services for Young People - Hillingdon

NWL CCG requires Hillingdon based Improved Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Services for young adults.

The service is a provision of digital mental health and wellbeing services to young people aged 16-25 years. The service has 3 elements. The service is based on the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) model, providing CBT based therapeutic interventions to young people struggling with low level anxiety disorders and low mood.

The CCG has recently awarded a contract to Community Barnet to enable the service to be provided to the community. The term of this contract is 6 months, 1st October 2021 - 31st March 2022 (value: £30,000.00), during which time, the CCG will assess the needs of the service users and consider how (if relevant) it needs to: -Secure the needs of the people who use the services;

-Improve the quality of the services; and

-Improve the efficiency in the provision of the services including through the services being provided in an integrated way.

The purpose of this notice is to confirm that the current contract with Community Barnet will be consumed into the new Better Care Funding pathway beyond April 2022.

During 2022, it is anticipated that NWL CCG will be succeeded by an Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any future contract and/or procurement opportunity may therefore be in the name of the ICB.
