Place Partnership Ltd. on behalf of Worcestershire County Council invite suitable, qualified Building Contractors to convert an existing garage to provide additional independent living accommodation for an individually targeted young person to live in at Oak House Children's Home Spetchley Road Worcester.

Oak House is a children's home for young people, the house is in a residential part of Worcester and the freehold is owned by Worcestershire County Council.

The contract is primarily for the conversion of the existing garage block to provide a single person's flat for semi-independent living, while retaining a smaller utility room. The works will include, but are not limited to, stripping out, replacement of existing floor slabs, construction of new partitions and ceilings, new toilet, kitchen &store facilities, associated drainage, electrical and mechanical works, together with minor external works, including the provision of external stores.

It is a requirement that all persons working on this contract must be vetted by the Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS). All costs associated with DBS vetting will be met by the successful supplier. Non-vetted personnel will not be allowed to work or visit the site.

Commencement on site : 31 July 2017.

Completion: 22 September 2017 (including client fit-out)
