Housing related support delivery within a refuge for women fleeing domestic abuse

This service is being retendered by the Council’s Supporting People Team for provision of services which:

•Provides targeted housing related support to clients that enables them to develop their independence and life skills and to access and sustain suitable settled accommodation

•Is focused on meeting a person’s immediate housing-related support needs and allows choice as to what they receive

•Provides secure and safe accommodation for clients and their children

•Provides positive outcomes for clients through good safeguarding practice, encouraging positive relationships, aiding economic development, promoting life skills and encouraging positive engagement with the wider community •Supports clients to access services that can help them to develop positively such as health care, mental health, housing services and other local support and welfare services

•Is designed and delivered with a focus on the client, is outcome focused and promotes ‘personalisation’

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
