Additional information: Under Regulation 72(1) (c ) of the Public Contracts Regulations Holy Trinity Academy Telford have decided to defer the contract start date for the provision of catering services to the School. It is anticipated that the contract start date will be 1st April 2021.

This decision has been made on the basis that due to Covid 19 and restrictions made by Central Government the contracting authority was unable to commence the delivery of the contract during the lockdown.

Whilst it is recognised that this situation may change prior to 1st April 2021 there remains uncertainty around customer participation levels during the pandemic and a potential second wave which may result in further closures.

It is felt that an April 2021 start date would reduce any further issues around service delivery and gives the appointed Contractor a full Year of trading .
