description

As part of the evidence for its emerging Local Plan, the Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants to undertake a Retail and Commercial Leisure Needs Assessment across the District. The Council’s Local Plan is seeking to balance Huntingdonshire’s future needs for housing and employment growth with provision of appropriate retail and leisure services for the community. We initially require a survey of at least 1,000 households to ascertain current retail and commercial leisure patterns of usage and expenditure. The Assessment will be used to inform analysis of future development needs and expenditure patterns and also advise on how the Council can boost the resilience of the retail and commercial leisure sectors of Huntingdonshire’s market towns. Expressions of interest to local.plan@huntingdonshire.gov.uk.
