FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE - The Sheffield College - AWARD

The College require a fit for purpose comprehensive and cloud-based Finance System solution. Tenderers should be able to demonstrate that the system has been successfully used in similar sized organisations, ideally in the Further Education sector, and that there is high quality end user support. It is expected that the supplier will be committed to research and development of the system throughout the 3-year contract, to keep pace with technological and financial developments and that upgrades to the system and user-customised screens can take place with minimal disruption.

The key objectives are:

• oTo implement a secure, robust, reliable, and comprehensive Finance System solution from a single supplier.
• oTo provide a finance system to interface with the College data management systems (principally Tribal EBS student records, but also iTrent HR Payroll), to facilitate the reporting and analysis of fully informed Management Information.
• oTo support a cultural change in the management of college finances through the provision of accurate and timely information to staff and managers and the tools and processes to enable effective management and reporting of financial transactions, data, and information to support College strategies and financial performance.
• oTo improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of information transfer and transactional activity within the College through workflow.
• oTo facilitate the efficient and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• oTo facilitate legislative compliance of financial reporting.
• oTo enable efficient reporting for statutory, funding, and other College returns.
• oTo enable remote working as appropriate.
• oTo enable effective document management, reducing financial and environmental costs.
