Central Bedfordshire Council wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to express an interest in a framework agreement for the provision of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services for an initial period of two years with the possibility of an extension considered on a yearly basis for another two years.

The work will cover Design and Build elements under separate Lots:

Lot 1 - Mechanical Services Lot 2 - Electrical Services

Design and Build Services - the framework will allow the authority to directly award projects or to call off suppliers on the framework to express an interest to enter a mini competition and tender for works within their Lot(s)

Building Condition Surveys - the framework will allow the authority to call off suppliers to express an interest to enter a mini competition and tender to carry out Condition Surveys

Collateral warranties for services will be required.

Pricing will be based on The National Schedule of Rates 2016/17 with the Suppliers' required tender adjustments to these published rates.

The framework will commence from Feb 2018 for an initial period of two years.

The annual value of the framework contract is in the region of £1million per annum and is below the OJEU value for works.

Completed Tenders and attachments should be submitted electronically, no later than 12:00 noon on 31/10/2017, tenders received after that time will be excluded.

Tenders must be uploaded via the \"My Return\" section of the system. Tenders submitted through the correspondence facility will not be considered.

Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all firms quoting, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all.
